real estate video: New Hampshire realtor uses video to showcase local communities & events - 02/06/10 06:29 AM
Agent Applause, a terrific website which highlights creating or inspirational marketing ideas by Realtors throughout the country. A great place to go for new ideas or "out of the box" marketing ideas for real estate! Check it out at AgentApplause.com This week one of my clients, Rudy Mayer, was featured due to his use of video, not just with property tours (he does those for every listing), but also to highlight his market area and why someone might want to consider moving to the Southern New Hampshire area. As Agent Applause mentions, these videos are NOT selling real estate,

real estate video: 13 fool proof ways to create a bad real estate video - 12/28/08 02:14 PM
Video production is not for everyone. Not only is it frustrating, but it's time consuming and technical. Nobody expects your video to be a Hollywood blockbuster, but one does assume that your video will reflect your professionalism as a realtor as well as a proper representation of the home for your sellers. Nashua Video Tours has provided high definition real estate video tours of homes and communities in New England for nearly 4 years. We have been featured on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and National Public Radio (NPR). We will be featured in an upcoming story and video

real estate video: Open Houses can work.... if you need some jewelry... - 08/26/08 05:34 PM
Other than the fact that most realtors are finding very little traffic at public open houses, there may be other reasons to scrap traditional open houses for a realistic real estate video tour instead. WRENTHAM, Mass. (WPRI) - A woman accused of stealing $10,000 worth of jewelry during an open house is being held without bail. Millene Wilmarth of North Attleboro was arraigned Tuesday at Wrentham District Court. She is accused of stealing the jewelry from a home in Plainville, Mass. Aug. 10 while posing as a prospective homebuyer during an open house. Open houses are still a viable option in

real estate video: Realtors trying some different methods to sell off houses... - 08/15/08 09:16 AM
This article appeared today in the Nashua Telegraph (New Hampshire), highlighting different ways that Realtors and sellers are creatively marketing their properties in a slow market.... Friday, August 15, 2008 By ASHLEY SMITH Staff Writer The video begins with spectacular views of the wooded countryside, set to a background of instrumental music. The song is an up-tempo version of something you might hear in an elevator. The camera

real estate video: Make sure buyers know your listing is OLD and STALE - Happy Holidays! - 12/01/07 07:29 AM
Nobody will argue that a home decorated for Christmas is beautiful. However, nobody will disagree that a listing photo or video tour featuring beautiful Christmas decorations looks ridiculous and dated..... in April or July! Of course, summer flowers and green grass also date photos, but that season technically can last for 6 months in many locations. Even winter photos date a listing, but that season also lasts about 6 months. Christmas is ONE DAY. December 25. In April, everyone will know exactly how long your home has been on the market. Not to mention that it goes against all rules for staging a
