or have they????
As Real Estate professionals we earn our living representing clients who complete various transactions.  Like any business or activity, Positioning or Timing is a critical component in achieving whatever success we have defined.
At what point will it be announced "the market has turned around?" or "Buyers/Sellers are back in the market" - IT'S TIME TO GO GET 'EM???  For some the market or business has never been better however for the majority (at least on what has been Blogged during the past year in AR) the market or business has never been as challenging!
If you're waiting … (13 comments)

3.19.2009 UPDATE
BONUES TO BE TAXED AT 90%
_____________________________________________________________________________________

AIG (American International Group) has relented after being beaten by public outcry we haven't seen in some time......and has agreed to Repay the Taxpayers 165 Million of the "Bonuses for Helping to Bring the U.S. Economy Down."

We'll be digging to get the facts straight but boy talk about a reversal.  A few thoughts.....
1.  Tim Geithner has been getting hammered, and rightfully so as wasn't he part of the AIG negotiation in the first place and where was his due dilligence?
2.  Everybody involved who received a part of … (11 comments)

MONEY IS GOING UNUSED.........TARP that is
Many are doing everything possible to insure their business weathers this economic tsumani we have been experiencing.  If not for our own business, certainly our customers rely on credit to make deals happen.  Some of you may recall then Secretary Paulson's leadership in executing the TARP program switched from dealing with toxic mortgages to shoring up banks so their capitalization would "look good."
Even though that was not the spirit originally agreed which became THE LAW so we could  tap into our Treasury - TARP was born.  Of course that move has been debated and … (3 comments)

With the talk of the proposed Bailouts, Foreclosures, Who did what...........etc., a good majority of our clients have been paralyzed waiting on something to happen.  Surely the worsened economy has literally frozen most consumer traffic - at least in our business.  So while many sit on the sidelines - my encouragement to you is to keep operating your business with the same vigor and enthusiasm you had when business was booming.
For most of us two critical components are Credit and Clients.  We need credit to keep our business moving and we need clients to generate the revenue needed to justify … (1 comments)

We're all feeling like Lame Ducks as with about 45 days until the next President takes office, many wonder what in the h#$@@#$@#$ is President Bush doing........other than allowing this economy to go down, while he jokes around offering pardons, hustling new bills into the legislature, all which perpetuate his desire to manipulate the American People and our lives.  Many ask How? Why?    History will define Bush's antics, in the meantime business owners like you and me and regular consumers (our clients) need some quick relief because as professional as we are - if we have to fight over the one … (6 comments)
