Much Like the 1930's Crash. - 12/15/08 09:12 PM
Just wanted to update you on the horrible computer time I have had since Thursday the 4th.  An e-mail came into my Outlook that must have had something connected to it and life as I knew it shut down.  I could not work in safe mode and Norton could not rid my machine of the spy wear virus that had attached me.  I had a friend rebuild my machine only to learn that we still need to find the key for the encryption software I use (PGP).  When that is done I will almost be back to normal; until then a year of e-mail activity … (4 comments)

Frisco Cycling Club had a Holiday Lunch and the Frisco Mayor Showed Up! - 12/15/08 09:10 PM
FCC had its end of the year lunch on Friday the 5th at Terilli's. We always like to invite Frisco leaders to join us at any event we have.  The FCC is a community based cycling club that has many descriptions.  We race, we ride, we clean streets, we raise money for causes greater than us and we are active on many Frisco Boards and Councils.  But what we also do when we are out riding:  we stop at stop signs and red lights and wave to cars that honk at us or leave us little room on the road (anyone know … (0 comments)

Christmas Traditions: Do You Have Any? - 12/15/08 09:06 PM
I can tell you that since moving to Frisco and having children, our traditions have developed and grown.  Julie makes me stand on a rickety old ladder each year holding one or both boys and place the angel on the top of the tree.  Luke informed me this year that it was a safety violation for him to stand on the top step of a ladder and for more than one to be on it at a time.  Another tradition is to head to St. Philips for Christmas in the courtyard.  Just a fun time and the kids love it.  A drive over to … (5 comments)

Hello FCC,
What a great turn out to the 2008, 1st ever, Holiday FCC Lunch at Terilli's!  Over 35 in attendance!  Thanks to all who came and look forward to more gatherings in the future.  Terilli's did a wonderful job with the custom menu for us and it was good to see so many faces without helmets or sunglasses.  We have a very good looking group of club members if I do say so myself.
It was nice to have Frisco's Mayer, Maher Maso join us as well as Ann Marie … (1 comments)

Are you Evite Smart? - 12/01/08 10:31 AM
I need help.  Just made and sent an Evite for a holiday lunch we are setting up for my cycling club here in Frisco, TX.  I did what they said and brought over all the names from Outlook into an address book in my Evite account.  But you can't see the names of who is invited and what they respond.  You can see the space the names make and when you roll your mouse over it lets you know there is something there to click on.  I don't think it is a background issue but can think of nothing else.

Frisco Square has Texas' largest choreographed music and light display!   November 28th - January 1st Every Night- FREE!!!
Christmas in the square has been going for years and so cool to drive by, turn on your radio to the set station and be in sync with the lights.  They have an event this Saturday called Merry main Street that my Rotary group will be at.  Great crowd of people all night long!

Wow- it is December - 12/01/08 09:55 AM
The best part about going away for Thanksgiving is your kids get to wreck havoc on someone else's home.  The worst part is you end up a weekend behind with your daunting list of Christmas "to do list".  What is your responsibility?  Mine is lights outside the house, the tree in the alcove above the door, driving the "man van" to get a tree and put it up.  I know, does not sound like a huge list but overwhelming for some reason.
One year I want to have a Christmas light party over here with lots of "Holiday Spirits" and have … (2 comments)
