Frisco Sunrise Rotary:  We meet at 7:30am each Tuesday morning at Randy's Steakhouse.  Our speaker will be Officer Glynda Covington of the Frisco Police Department. She is the Community Services Officer and will speak about the different avenues that the department takes to reach our community.
Frisco Discovery Center Grand Opening presented by the Frisco Community Development Corporation will kick-off with a VIP Preview on Friday, October 1st and followed by a community open house on Saturday, October 2.
Blessing of the Animals, Sunday, October 3rd from 2-3pm at St. Philip's Episcopal.

What are your plans for Spring Break?  I have mine all set, and hope you might as well.
For the 2011 Lochrann's Paddy Dash, we've brought in five charity partners: The Boys and Girls Club of Collin County, C.A.K.E., Frisco Cares, Frisco Family Services Center and ManeGait.
They are all counting on the upcoming March 19th Lochrann's Paddy Dash to be just as successful as ever. I would like to have each of these charities walk away with $5,000 each, but to get to this lofty goal I need sponsors, both large and small.

I know, both guys are a bit nutty but I do like watching it when I can.  Every now and then, I do learn a few things- but all the more, some of their "rants" are funny to watch.  My guess is they have a blast making the videos they send out each day.

Want to start looking forward to Mondays? Frisco Websites hosts their weekly "Almost After Hours" for area business owners at the Yucatan Taco Stand starting at 4pm on Mondays. Great event to meet other business owners.

 The 2010 USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships are at the Superdrome Velodrome in Frisco, Texas, September 1-5. Come out to watch today, tomorrow and Sunday!  Approximately 400 riders and their families are expected to attend. The Superdrome is an Olympic-style track cycling venue and one of only three 250 meter wood surfaced velodromes in the United States. The track is built upon a specially designed steel frame structure with banking of 44 degrees at the steepest points and has a technologically advanced non-skid surface for safety and ease of use. The Superdrome was completely resurfaced in spring 2009.
