The holiday seemed to go by, quickly! Getting together with family, old friends, and sharing the Christmas holidays and traditions with them, was just awesome this year. We ate, way too much, we laughed and we spoke of old tradtions. We mentioned loved ones that we have lost and still miss, all these years later. That is a wonderful impact to leave with your friends and family. It makes you feel like some part of them, is still with us.

One of my 1st time homebuyers was a bit shocked, when I told him that the best time to shop and buy a new home, is during the holidays. It's true. Statistics show that they are fewer people looking at homes during the Christmas Season, than any other time. The advantage to the buyer? No competition. Most people are out and about shopping, attending parties, or visiting friends and relatives.

Beautiful Winter Scenes in Connecticut, Part One! - 12/11/09 05:37 PM
I love these beautiful scenes, right after it snows! Everything is like it was just painted, while we slept. As I travel through different towns, listing and showing homes, I will try to capture more beauty from our state of Connecticut to share with you.
Snow in Bolton, Ct Notice they now use calcium on the roads, this is a state road (RT 85), which keeps the scene beautiful. Some town roads are still sanded.
This home is for the birds! It was purchased in Los Angeles and brought to snowy Connecticut! The tenants love the space!

Whoo Hoo! This is wonderful news! The Turning Points are such a good opportunity to network with others and really get to know someone. The one day events were powerful, but, having that 2nd day is very welcomed by members. The market is picking up and we will be ready!

Governor M. Jodi Rell today invited the public to visit the December 4 - 6 Holiday Open House at the Governor's Residence, 990 Prospect Avenue in Hartford.
The 2009 Holiday Ornament is now on sale at a cost of $20.00 to benefit the Governor's Residence Conservancy. This year's ornament depicts the inside of the State Capitol dome.
