Having Vision in Glastonbury, Ct! Do You Have It? - 07/29/12 08:49 AM
Lovely couple with two little ones, is joining the community of Glastonbury, Ct. Due to a job relocation, they moved from Connecticut to another state, a few years ago. Now, the job market has brought them back to us, here in Glastonbury, Ct. The location is perfect for their commutes to work, shopping and local entertainment. I found this home for them, quite by accident. The husband was working while they were here for a week. I showed his family homes in several towns and the three homes that made the A list were revisited with the husband. One home that (2 comments)
Terrific Ct Realtor, Wants to Sell Your Home! - 07/21/12 08:06 AM
Thinking of moving, this year? Not sure of the timing? The first question I ask of someone who has called me about selling their home is, when would you like to move? Oddly enough, that can be answered with, now, in the summer, during the fall, before winter sets in or some people even suggest in the next year or so. Then, there is the "not sure" answer. It's amazing how much more the buyer trusts you, from day one, when they are a referral client. 1) We meet and have a buyer preparation meeting. In the state of Connecticut, we have buyer agency law. You cannot take out a buyer to look at properties, unless you have signed them up with our state contract. It is a good law. After all, buyers do need guidance and proper attention. We read over the purchase (9 comments)
Frustrating Short Sales! - 07/20/12 03:22 PM
Hoping that NAR is able to make the banks respond to the short sale dilemma of taking forever, to close on a property. The banks lack of response is not believable. Of course, they don't want to let their clients just walk away from debt. I understand that. However, would some money in their bank for a bad loan, be better than no money while the house sits empty for a year or more? If the property ends up in foreclosure, they receive even less monies for that property. There has to be something that we are missing. Empty homes and (5 comments)
