buyers in ct: Your Listing is About to Expire, Do You Even Want to Keep It? - 01/31/11 11:56 AM
This could be a challenge for some, given the current market conditions and the economy.  However, let's pretend, just for a few minutes, that you don't really need to hang on to these listings.
 Ask yourself these questions;
   Is the Seller listening to your advice?
   Is the product (property) saleable?
   Have you, already, spent too much time and money on this listing?
   Has it become the ball and chain, around your business?
   Is it priced, right?  True, we are in a buyer's market and that means, that it takes, more than six months for the average listing to … (7 comments)

buyers in ct: If You Think That They Were Not Watching You..... - 01/05/10 02:03 AM
I had to share my latest experience with you.  I am sure it has, or will, happen to you.  I have three wonderful children, who are now adults.  They all make me very proud.  Good citizens, kind and considerate of others and they really are motivated.
My youngest Daughter is, now, looking for a house.  She has spent the most time with me, during my real estate career.  I obtained my license when she was in nursery school.  She has come to closings with me, waited for me while I was out showing homes, taken messages for me, set up my … (10 comments)

buyers in ct: Business is Blooming! - 04/30/09 05:04 AM
Yes, spring has sprung!  We are enjoying warm, sunny days in Connecticut.  Grass is much greener and the flowers are blooming in full color.  So are the buyers!  Business is blooming all over.  The closing agents are backed up, yet again.  They are not complaining, though.  Just happy to be helping folks that are buying and selling homes.  So are, the Realtors, Bankers, Home Inspectors, Appraisers and Contractors.

buyers in ct: Make Your Trip Worth It! - 08/11/08 07:40 AM
Did you hear this when you were a child?  Going upstairs and bringing clean laundry up, for your Mom, since you were going upstairs anyway?  Coming downstairs, grab something to carry for someone else, just to make sure they wouldn't have to go upstairs for just one thing?
Those of you who are or have been coached by or attended Brian Buffini's Events have heard his version of this, from his Mother, in his Irish accent.  Seems to sound so much better when he says it!
The truth is, we can all do this.  Daily we are running about, here and … (6 comments)

buyers in ct: Showed Properties Today and - 08/09/08 10:48 AM
You just won't believe it.  I showed one of these homes, a week or so ago.  My clients had a few questions about the property, but, they really liked it.  I went to the town hall to look up the file on this property.  With the information that was in the file, I was able to answer their questions.  One of the questions was the actual garage size.  The town hall stated it was 20 x 21.
This morning, I went back with my clients and their parents.  I had asked the agent if he could make sure his vehicle, a pickup truck, … (4 comments)
