It’s embarrassing to admit, but even though I have been driving the same car for years, I still forget which side of the car the gas cap is located.  This usually happens when I go to a new gas station or if there are a lot of cars and I need to drive around to get to a pump – this is enough for me to forget which side of the car the gas cap is located.   BUT I learned something new today!

Should sellers think twice before allowing buyers to do additional specialized home inspections? - 10/16/11 04:41 PM
Selling a home that is built in the 1970s or earlier brings up additional home inspections that a buyer may want to consider, such as inspecting for:
·         lead-based paint·         asbestos·         sewer lines·         soil contamination from an oil storage tank·         mold, etc. 
But should a seller think twice before allowing a buyer to do these additional specialized home inspections? 
Getting a general home inspection is common, and most buyers and sellers are well-aware of this practice and are accepting of it.  A seller should allow a buyer to investigate the home.  I think everyone on both sides of the … (4 comments)

Everyday I receive emails about the latest and greatest schemes, plans and products that will skyrocket my business and income.  Today was no different.  I received an email that promised if I purchased this lead-generating program, I would be able to make $1 million in one year.  Wow!  That’s amazing!  For just $399, I could get the keys to this secret program!  Sounds tempting, doesn’t it?! 
But this magical program for $399 is not going to make anyone successful, except for the guy offering the program!
