Central Stuart, Florida - The City of Stuart Stuart, is the only true city in Martin County. It is the home for the City and the County Government of Martin County. In 2007, the census bureau recorded a population of 15,964 for the City of Stuart.

The City of Stuart totals 8.5 square miles of which 2.2 square miles is mainly navigable waterways. Average rainfall is 58 inches per year yet there is also an average of 236 sunny days. The average high temperature in July is 90 degrees while the average low temperature in January is 55 degrees.
