DYK: Google Analytics can be integrated with your email campaigns? - 05/30/12 06:47 AM
Google Analytics- This an outstanding free website analytics tool.  It will give you loads of information on your website such as your most visited and least pages and from what pages people are leaving your site and going elsewhere.   This goes a long way for knowing how effective your website is.  Many email service providers allow your email campaigns to integrate with Google Analytics.  This provides tremendous reporting!  Not only can you tell what each user has done with your email but you’ll also know where each person has gone on your website.
I have always said your real estate website’s … (1 comments)

Home buyers should buy with you Part 3 - 05/23/12 06:43 AM
A $750 tax credit is also available for first-time buyers to assist with closing costs such as legal fees, land transfer taxes, disbursements, etc.  The credit is based on $5000 for first time home buyers.  A person is considered a first time buyer if neither they nor their spouse or common-law partner has owned or lived in another home in the year of the home purchase or at any time in the past 4 years.Education: there’s a wealth of information available to prospective homeowners, both first timers and multi-timers.  What they don’t need is more information but someone to help them navigate … (0 comments)

Home buyers should buy with you Part 2 - 05/23/12 06:42 AM
Another instance of where home prices have not declined much in recent years is areas where large amounts of property development was simply not possible.  This can be true for either the US or Canada.  Many areas (especially affluent or wealthy ones) in Toronto were built up mostly to capacity many years ago.  So when supply stays the same, prices aren’t going to be affected much unless demand goes way up or way down.  Neither has happened in Canada.

Doing paperwork for closings is not a revenue generating task, though it’s obviously an essential part of your business and must still be done.If you’re building your business online with your real estate website, you really need to take an inventory of yourself and think about whether … (6 comments)

How do I Maximize the Value to My Site : Photo Tagging for Real Estate Sites - 05/08/12 01:02 PM
The first thing you should note about search engines is that their software can only read text. When I say text, I don't mean text that you embed in an image or text that you place inside a flash file or those that appear in a video. I mean text like you see everywhere on thesitewizard.com's articles - plain, unadulterated, ordinary text. While it's true that some search engines have the rudimentary ability to scan a Flash file, you cannot assume that this ability is sophisticated enough to obtain all the information you want them to have. In fact, I suspect that only … (5 comments)

Strengthening Your Listing Presentation with Technology by Gabrielle Jeans - 05/07/12 09:21 AM
In the past, real estate professionals did listing presentations strictly with printed materials.  They handed out a CMA, photos of comparables, the ads and fliers they’d done for other listings, and their brokerage’s literature.  If you’re still only using print materials in your listing presentations then you’re not giving the best listing presentation you could be giving.
Today’s, you need to use a laptop at your listing presentation as well as the usual print handouts.  This lets you demonstrate your website along with having a laptop based listing presentation to complement your print materials.  Do this and you’ll be way ahead … (2 comments)
