with the rate reduction in Fed funds of .75 percent, the 400 pt rise in the stock market, and the corresponding, and unfortunate, rise in mortgage interest rates late yesterday, we have to have a little levity in our lives to protect our sanity.

JP Morgan Chase and the Fed just bailed out Bear Stearns over the weekend for pennies on the dollar!  In addition, the Fed just lowered rates on loans to banks by .25%.  While the rate reduction is helpful, it probably will not be received … (5 comments)
