January 20,2009.. Its a big day in our country's history. Its also a day of news other than to welcome a new President. The Austin Board of Realtors has given out a press release with some great news to home owners and buyers in Austin Texas.
The month of December 2008 Multiple Listing Service the volume of single-family home sales was down last month 21 percent compared to December 2007. While prices in Central Texas remain stable, with the median price down by only 4% compared to December 2007, proving the Austin market is still a good buy.

Austin Texas is a MOST WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE, I love Austin, its energy, its growth, the awareness of environmental and ecological concerns, the awareness of humanity. Austin has a cultural environment of bats, cowboys,golfers, techno-savvy community members, and of course music, covering rock n roll, jazz, country and everything in between.
What Austin also has is a downside, Cedar Fever, it affects many of us from October to February, comes and goes, has its way with us. leaving us sniffling, sneezing, ears ringing-itching and eyewatering.. we are masses of humanity saying pass the tissues please.
