What Your REALTOR Won't Tell You About Off-site Conditions - 08/02/10 02:34 PM
"This home has the most magnificant water views in the neighborhood. Wouldn't you love to see this view every day?" This what I overheard a listing agent telling a customer at an Public Open House in my market area. As a neighborhood expert, I knew that the views of this property could be compromised in two ways. First, there was a home on the downward slope of the hill, out of sight, but their property came up to the top of the hill and the owners could plant a row of white pines and the water view would be gone overnight.
