Our State Senator, Anthony Musto has introduced legislation to repeal an act that allows servicers to not have to "produce the note" in foreclosures.  Right now in Connecticut, the servicers don't have to prove they own the mortgage obligation.  Hard to believe, but true.  This could happen here....
