Spring has Sprung so Mark your calendars!  Here's a Gainesville event you won't want to miss.  It's the Spring fling to do in Gainesville!  Kanapaha Botanical Gardens  located in southwest Gainesville, presents The 2012 Spring  Garden Festival. 
This is Gainesville's premier horticultural event every year.  The Spring Garden Festival features about 200 booths offering plants, landscape displays, garden accessories, arts and crafts, educational exhibits and, of course, foods.  Also featured are a walk-through butterfly conservatory, children's activities area, live entertainment and live auctions.  It's great fun you will enjoy!

A tradition has developed at the Tioga Town Center!  The beautiful stage & pavillion at the Tioga Town Center has become the home to some great concert events all year, but the Free Movie Night is becoming a great family thing to do at Tioga.
Bring a lawn chair or spread out a blanket in the grass and enjoy the Concert And Movie Series At the Square on selected Fridays.

The Hot Rodding For Heros Classic Auto Tour and Show is coming February 11, 2012.  The road tour begins at Santa Fe College with a police escort.  The classic car show will begin at 11:00am with the arrival of the road tour at the Haile Village Center and Haile Plantation Golf & Country Club, and end at 4:00pm with the “Best of Show” presentation followed by the Grand Departure.

The University of Florida Homecoming Week in Gainesville Florida has a great assortment of THINGS TO DO for you and your family.   We all know the big show is the football game on Saturday, but there are some fun filled things to do before the game.
I’ve just gotten my tickets for GATOR GROWL 2011.  We are really looking forward to this year’s line-up that includes Sister Hazel, Joel McHale, and Goo Goo Dolls, PLUS….the fireworks are back since 2008!
 
GATOR GROWL begins Friday evening at the stadium at 7pm.

If you are keeping track of all the Gainesville Area Fall Festivals, I want to remind you of this one!  It's my favorite every year.  It's time to plan for the 36th Annual Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival.
 
WHEN:  October 30 & October 31st.
WHERE:  Cholokko Boulevard, Micanopy
TIME:  Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm

This is my favorite festival! 
 
The setting is beautiful.  The grand-daddy oak canopy provides great shade for over 200 vendors along Cholokko Boulevard. There's plenty of parking and it's a great way to spend the day!

We've got something fun to do this weekend here in Gainesville Florida !! 
There will be over 140 booths of artists with fine art and fine crafts.  Don't forget the music and the food too.   It's the place to be this weekend in Gainesville!

Before we get to Trick or Treating tonight,  we have the FLORIDA VS GEORGIA football game.  A Classic rivalry college game with great fans and family fun in Jacksonville.

One of my clients told me about a Great Event this week at the Florida Museum of Natural History.   My son is loves "cool" science stuff and watches several shows on Science Channel so this is right up his "cool stuff" alley.   We plan to attend this event at the Florida Museum of Natural Histoy this Thursday 3/27.
It looks like great fun with the University of Florida's  science experts: UF Department of Geologial Sciences.
