Sooooooooo... why is a 1/2 Irish, 1/2 French Canadian so excited about the election of an American president??? Two words, hope & change! Since September 11th, 2001 we've all been through a lot. The world seems to have bought a one way ticket to hell with no way back. For many of us... Americans, Canadians, Europeans, etc... today feels different. There is something about President Obama that gives us hope and a glimpse into better days ahead, new things to come.
