If you look at the Austin area statistics in the graphic, you'll see the same story that has been prevalent for the local market for over a year: prices are up, average days on market is down, and there are more sales. One thing to take with a pinch of salt is the 63 average days on market. This covers homes out in Buda, in Leander, and everywhere in between. It covers areas that have negative characteristics, it covers luxury homes, and it covers everything that is over priced, under priced and priced at the market rate.
