Mueller, Austin TX is a mixed-use urban infill project built at the site of the old international airport. It's a few miles from UT and downtown East of I35 and already has some 700 homes on the ground, in addition to big box retail (Best Buy, Home Depot) and the Dell Children's Hospital.
With a plan for 10,000 residents and 10,000 jobs, it's a great place to introduce live-work. The guiding Design Handbook was a collaboration between many members of the surrounding neighborhoods, and the City who owned the land, and includes specification for Mueller Shop Houses.

How do you sell your home at Mueller? The second attempt is under way right now. The first resale ended up leasing their home recently, after 37 days on the market. And now the second resale home is available.
I’m a little surprised by the listing for a number of reasons - there are no photos of it, and no sign is on the street.

The residential development at the old Mueller Airport in Austin, TX is in its second phase as we move through Spring of 2009. Are we going to run out of homes here soon?
To say that home sales have been brisk here would be an understatement. Here are a few statistics that might shed some light on the interest in Mueller:
