Sorry about missing the posting of the event before it happened so here is a bit about the night.

Supper started at 7:00 pm with about 40 guests big and small, I was going to break it down into age categories but found it would not be needed since we all turn into children at this time of the year.(YES me too)

The meal was great and we all had enough or too much, this will depend on your belt this morning and how much tighter the shirt may feel. We had ham, turkey assorted veggies and salads along with some fantastic deserts.

The appearance of a Jolly Older Gentleman have all a stir with his presence and presents. After the young children had an opportunity to visit and be gifted by Santa Claus the older children had a gift exchange.

Does not seem to matter a whole lot as to what you are doing to get ahead one way or the other. Keeping up or ahead of the Jone's seems to take many hours in this industry by the time you blog here and log over there with another post over at that other place. Good thing I like to pick and play with different ideas and try a bit of this and that or I could see myself running in circles. I would be interest in hearing from you as an independent group or person as to how many hours your figure you average in a week or a month on updating your web presence and systems?

Where to go, what to do...

December just around the corner and so is the hibernation of 40-50 percent of to-days real estate agents. Are you one of these agents that stay around and pick away at your business or are you the agent that packs in the business and sits back, pick up your feet, takes it easy and asks where are all the buyers and sellers?

Well myself I have never been the sit back and relax type, takes to much energy to do that as far as I am concerned. I find myself doing and looking for more ways to be a more effective agent for my clients or a different way of marketing that home or property other than the norm for most of us. Finding a way to improve the services I have to offer my clients and future clients keeps me visible and out in front of people. This is easier then coming out of hibernation as far as I am concerned.

Projects, learning and involvement is where I will be this winter, where will you be? Myself I am working on self development I have already picked up 3 books for different ways and approaches on Marketing, Sales Negotiating and Personal Growth. Along with that I will be concentrating my efforts on Home Presentation for the internet shoppers and buyers. If you are not looking into internet development for your new and upcoming clients I feel you will be get left behind. The internet and access to information has made such a dramatic change to our industry that if you sit back and relax you will be left behind.
