One of the most important aspects of hiring the home inspector is in the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and understanding of the professional. Client Tunnel Vision - 10/18/07 09:02 AM
I was asked not long ago by a fellow home inspector how he should/could explain to his client that the house he just inspected is a piece of crap and not worth any amount of money? How can I tell my customer to RUN, not walk away from this deal?
My response was to report what you see and keep your personal feelings out of the mix. You are hired to see and report your findings on the conditions of the home. Giving advice on whether or not to buy is not part of your job and is a very bad idea. … (5 comments)
