Health Care - We Are #37
Medical care in this country is a disaster.  Insurance that costs $1200 per month here will cost approximately $70 per month for similar coverage in Ecuador. The last time the World Health Organization ranked countries by the quality of their health care, the US came in at #37 with countries such as Costa Rica, Chile, Columbia, Dominica, Morocco and Oman above us. (The rankings probably have not changed much.)

I just saw an excellent post by Tere Cardenas and I have to re-blog it.  Ecuador is a country that is relatively unnoticed by foreigners and that is a big mistake.  If you are considering Latin America, you should consider Ecuador.  The country welcomes foreigners and guarantees their property rights, which are held as fee-simple.  The quality of life is excellent and medical care is affordable and good. Rendezvous 2009
The sound of black powder guns rips through the air.  The thunk of hurled tomahawks makes a dramatic contrast.  Then suddenly you hear the unmistakable and powerful sound of bagpipes playing Amazing Grace.  No, it isn't 1825.  It just happened at the rendezvous at Fort Bridger, Wyoming.
Wandering through the camp, it was as if you stepped a couple of hundred years back into the history of the Rocky Mountain fur trade.  You could smell the rich odor of burning pine and aspen as you made your way through the camp of tepees and mountain man lodges and wandered … (3 comments)

Bob Stewart of ActiveRain posted an entry in his blog today that I hope millions of people will see.  It is so important that I am re-blogging his post.
I know this was not the action of the Wells Fargo, but banking has become a cult where bankers feel they can do as they please and if anything goes wrong the government will take care of them.  It is a double standard.  John Doe on the street is not treated equally with anyone in banking. 
I hope Wells Fargo will do the right thing -- but I don't expect it.

Sometimes the Best Places are Hidden Away -  The Clockwork Cafe in Park City, Utah
Everybody loves a great place for lunch.  And the best way to find the great food and customer service is to ask around and get referrals.  I did just that in Park City and found an awesome place for lunch - The Clockwork Cafe.  It is located in a business park and I thought that it was kind of hidden away - but the search for it was more than worth while.
