outdoor safety concerns: Have we talked Safety Lately? - 01/17/10 02:24 PM
Michigan still hovers as the highest in the nation for unemployment. The 15% unemployment number is almost a blessing that it isn't worse. The missions, food banks and social service agencies are working beyond capacity. Donations are down and people who thought they never would have to have the assistance of food stamps are now hoping the program continues. Your hard wired telephone line is a great conductor of electricity. That is why surge protectors were suggested for computers that originally (3 comments)
outdoor safety concerns: Spring brings safety issues - 05/09/07 11:29 PM
Every spring and summer Michigan has a rash of injuries because people have been subdued by the inclement weather. Know that spring is in full swing with warmer weather pulled muscles, broken bones and motorized accidents become common. We caution our children yet some of us need to caution ourselves. Boating and fishing are great ways to relax but going prepared is the only way to enjoy the water. Make sure to have flotation for everyone including yourself. Have a first aid kit on your boat and in your car. The blood you stop may be mine! Before doing heavy exercise stretch (0 comments)
