animals: A Big One and a Little One - 04/11/12 11:40 AM
Driving around the Greenbrier Valley this past weekend, we saw many horses, cows, bulls, and one big pig and a mini horse.
Pigs are omnivores, which means that they consume both plants and animals, and are highly social and intelligent animals.
The Shetland pony is a breed of pony originating in the Shetland Isles. Shetlands range in size from a minimum height of approximately 28 inches to an official maximum height of 42 inches. animals: Alone and Hungry - 10/03/10 02:53 PM
While out showing houses with my clients, we saw a fawn in the nearby woods. The client goes over and the young deer starts licking his hand for a good five minutes. I had plenty of time to get my camera and snap a few photos.
We then go into the house and when we came out the fawn was in the yard waiting for us. He continued to pet the small deer until we were ready to go. The poor thing was so skinny and must have been hungry and we had nothing to feed him. Seems … (14 comments)

It's My Birthday......Woof Woof
Zeke is three years old today, Monday, September 27...and he gives us so much joy. We got Zeke when he was almost a year old. I had listed a house in my neighborhood and the sellers were moving out of town. Seems Zeke kept digging in the mulch around their trees and bushes, and they were unable to walk him. So, when I listed their home I was asked if we wanted a dog. And, long story short...we now have a beautiful chocolate lab. Zeke is walked, and loves to play "fetch". He is still a … (23 comments)

On Sunday, my husband and I decided to take our chocolate lab, Zeke, to Blue Bend Recreation Park at Monongahela National Forest. We have been there many times, and I even wrote a post on our first visit at Blue Bend with Zeke.
We were having a great time, enjoying a picnic and playing with Zeke in the water. He loves to play "fetch" anyplace, anywhere, anytime.
