I never forget my sister's birthday, since it is on St. Patrick's Day! Today my sister Brenda is 70 years young! We had decided to drive to our brother's in Tennessee and celebrate her birthday. So off we go....Brenda, her husband Bob, sister Betty and me. We had dinner at Carrabbas Italian Grill in Johnson City. It was a fun evening, being with my family, although the other seven siblings could not make it. Dinner was delicious and no one wanted dessert after the meal. Wednesday, October 27th was my oldest brother's birthday...he turned 77 years old! It was a fun-filled day. Two of my sisters and their husbands drove to Tennessee for a birthday luncheon. Later that evening we had a small birthday party with friends. Dan had a great day and I was happy to share this special day with him. Zeke is three years old today, Monday, September 27...and he gives us so much joy. We got Zeke when he was almost a year old. I had listed a house in my neighborhood and the sellers were moving out of town. Seems Zeke kept digging in the mulch around their trees and bushes, and they were unable to walk him. So, when I listed their home I was asked if we wanted a dog. And, long story short...we now have a beautiful chocolate lab. Zeke is walked, and loves to play "fetch". He is still a … (23 comments)

NOT SO...Wordless Wednesday - A Lovely Birthday Setting The below photos are the setting for my birthday party/dinner given by Roger and Ann Day of Glade Springs. The theme, as you can see, was Mexican with a pinata on each table. It was a great party and dinner on a lovely summer evening. Glade Springs is a beautiful golf resort located in Daniels, West Virginia, with beautiful homes, and there are three championship golf courses.
