We had a warm and sunny day for The 3rd Annual Greenbrier Valley Board of REALTORS® “Feed the Need” Food Drive.  Suzanne Horst and I had our table ready Saturday morning at the entrance of Sav-A-Lot store in Fairlea, WV.  A few blocks away, Robert Bittinger, Jr., was setting his table at K-Mart.

The 3rd Annual Greenbrier Valley Board of REALTORS® “Feed the Need” Food Drive

The 3rd annual Greenbrier Valley Board of REALTORS® “Feed the Need” food drive has started.  This past weekend the Board members had a booth at the Taste of our Town (TOOT) Festival.  Brown beans or vegetable soup with cornbread and cookies were sold to start our food drive.  Approximately $500 was made at TOOT ...not a bad start!
 
This year’s food drive will end November 26th.  We are graciously asking for participation and support from our communities and businesses in the collection of … (5 comments)

The Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors Paying It Forward for “Feed the Need” Campaign
Last year the Greenbrier Board of Realtors (GVBOR) started a “Feed the Need” campaign  to help stock Greenbrier and Monroe County’s food pantries.  Last year we raised $5,000 in donated items.  The goal for this year’s GVBOR “Feed the Need” campaign is $10,000 in donated items.
This past Saturday, November 10, Suzanne Horst and I held the food drive at the Kroger Store in Fairlea, WV.   We collected $503 in cash donations and over ten boxes of non-perishable food. ..It was indeed a good … (7 comments)

"Feed the Need" canned food drive sponsored by the Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors is underway!  The two Realtors who are running the  "Feed the Need" Campaign are Robert Bittinger and Keith Shaver of Coldwell Banker Stuart and Watts Real Estate Office, Lewisburg, WV.
 
 
Please Help Those In Need in our community.
 
 
The campaign started October 5, 2011 and continues until December 8, 2011 ... collecting canned food for our local food pantrys.
