This past July, I attended the Greenbrier Valley Theatre's art auction, which is GVT’s largest annual fundraiser, I was lucky enough to bid on a painting by Mary Hurst and to take it home. A black frame held this beautiful painting and did not do it justice. So, I asked David Leadman of Wall's Fine Art Gallery located at the Greenbrier's Art Colony Shops to help me select the right frame for this piece of art. Below shows the art with the black frame and silver tone frame.... what a difference.

Walls Fine Art Gallery has moved from Wilmington, NC to The Greenbrier’s Alabama Row Art Colony Shops. It is the latest addition to that array of quality craftsmanship and fun, but the owners David Leadman and Nancy Marshall are far from new to the art world.
As painters themselves, they’ve got 40 years each in the production side. David, a West Virginia native, had his first gallery in Huntington, WV, while he was in school at Marshall. After his first semester, he was introduced to June Kilgore and spent the remaining 3 ½ years of GI Bill in (14 comments)

Clematis 'Jackmanii' is a vine with beautiful violet-purple blooms. The Clematis Jackmanii was introduced in 1862, and was the first of the modern large-flowered hybrid clematises of gardens. It is a climber with large violet-purple blooms, still among the most familiar climbers seen in gardens. For beautiful colors, extravagance of blooms, and graceful habit, nothing compares with Clematis, the queen of the flowering vines. Whether used on posts or fences, clambering through shrubs and trees, or following wire frames in borders, they will enrich the landscape. (From Wikipedia)
