hoa: Where is Your Property Manager? - 08/12/09 10:44 AM
Homes being rented in Home Owner Association community's with absentee landlords need a qualified property management company to oversee the property. Most complaints received by HOA board of directors revolve around fines received from weeds, illegal parking, trash containers left in view, and noise.
In many cases letters requesting fine waivers contain (3 comments)
hoa: HOA's and Renters - 08/03/09 11:08 AM
It is unusual in Arizona to move into a community that does not have an Home Owner Association (HOA). The owner of the property, whether living in the home or an investor who is renting or leasing the home, is responsible for the compliance of the HOA CCR's and Standards. In most (2 comments)
hoa: Are you Listening? - 11/17/07 09:43 AM
When President Lyndon Johnson was junior senator from Texas,he had a sign on the wall of his office that read: "You ain't learning nothing when you're doing all the talking." As Realtors we love to talk, love to let the client know all about what we can do for them and how (7 comments)
hoa: Help Me Understand - 10/21/07 10:48 AM
I read the following post http://activerain.com/blogsview/134449/Property-Managers-Help-Meand wanted to respond to Sara on her property management quandary. I find many landlords have the same questions and lack of understanding on property management. I would be confused by the answers her "interviewed" property managers gave to her as well. My experience with "most" property management/managers (1 comments)
hoa: Freshly Coated Community Walls - 10/12/07 04:26 PM
If you live in Kingswood Parke have you noticed the fresh paint being applied to the community walls? hoa: HOA Apathy - 10/04/07 09:42 AM
I read Robin Williams blog on HOA's and the size and color of signs and, as always, it set me off on my HOA rants. She talks about HOA's and the new law is Arizona concerning size and color of signs and a "gray" area about what an HOA might or (2 comments)
hoa: Get Involved - 09/23/07 11:16 AM
Remember the joke about weather, everyone talks about it but nobody does anything about it? That can certainly be applied to Home Owner Associations. People gripe and complain about the board, the decisions, and the rules, but they don't DO anything about it. I receive three or four complaints a week about (2 comments)
hoa: It's a Mystery - 09/01/07 08:27 AM
This is my rant for the week, no wait, maybe for the day. Why is it when a Realtor obtains a listing that they fail to get complete information to put on the MLS? I pull up a listing in a desired area and there is an HOA mentioned but no (16 comments)
hoa: Not Only Home Owners - 08/28/07 08:47 PM
I can see that not only home owners in HOA's have apathy, but most real estate agents as well. It is so much easier to take an easy path of least resistance and insure the sale goes through and not worry about tomorrow. But how many more referrals could be gained (2 comments)
hoa: Home Owner Apathy and the HOA - 08/27/07 11:43 AM
Why do so many home owners gripe and complain about their Home Owner Associations? When the purchase of a home is made in a HOA community, the buyer receives the Bylaws and CCR's and signs off that they have received them. How many take the time to read them and understand (2 comments)
