It is Mother's Day and it is a time of rebirth. I have to take care of me like I do of my own children. After almost 3 years of growing a Keller Williams Market Center to 37 agents, being named Recruiter of the Year by Keller Williams, I have felt the dissapointment any mother would have of the betrayal by the company she was so committed to.
The Regional Director of Northern California told me that the Region was going in another direction and I was no longer "KW Material". I am not sure what that means. Maybe, it is someone that believes whole-heartedly in the KW philosophy but is willing to ignore it for political gain. I would like you to talk to my business partners and core group so that you can see how KW really operates.
I hope that my experience, and the rest of the wonderful agents that I worked with move past our terrible experience with this company. Please understand that I know there are wonderful people that work in the KW system. Many of them are my very close friends. However, all companies are made up of politics and this one is no different. My ownly problem is that KW professes to be different than the "traditional broker" or the "independent broker". Guys, this is not true. A company is only as good as the people that are in it. The pressure from the top or within the company is no different than any other political structure. So if you are thinking about joining Keller Williams or are thinking about opening a KW office, please contact me so I can help you avoid the pitfalls that I fell into.
