It's amazing sometimes to think that if we take a day off we feel guilty about it! I find myself needing to explain if I just want a day off. I think it came about because of the fact that when a holiday comes around, as an example, Mother's Day, that there always seems to be that one person that wants to see a house right then, can't do it tomorrow, but has to do it today.

Dealing with jealous Realtors - 06/20/07 07:26 AM
I have been in the business 6 years and have been blessed and very successful. I just listed an adorable home. Another agent called my seller, upset that she didn't give her a chance at listing and told her that "She had made a huge mistake". First of all, this agent doesn't know me, I don't know her and I believe this is unethical and rude. I'm not the type to pursue this but warning to other agents. How to compete with New Home Sales - 06/19/07 06:44 PM
With so many resales around and with our county letting a new subdivision open every other week how do you compete with a new home in the same price range as your resales. Resales that have finished basements even! The subdivisions are offering incentives we couldn't possibly give. Showings aren't even happening because they can't get past the sales office and all the incentives offered to them. … (6 comments)
