Apply for Howard County Moderate Income Housing Unit by January 29th. - 01/11/10 08:34 AM
The Howard County Office of Housing and Community Development is accepting applications for the Moderate Income Housing Unit Program until January 29th.  Howard County requires some new developments to provide some of the housing for moderate income families.  To participate, you must meet the income limits, as outlined in the press release. 
The Department will hold an “MIHU Buyers and Renters Workshop” on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, in the Columbia Gateway Building (6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, 1st floor, Columbia) from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Howard County Market Report: Are We Really in a Balanced Market? - 01/02/10 04:47 PM
I was looking at the statistics for my market area, primarily for my Howard County Market Report, Carroll County Market Report and Baltimore County Market Report, as well as the region.  I happened to notice that the regional inventory now stands at 6 months. Hmmmm.........
The National Association of Realtors states that a 6 month  inventory of  homes is a neutral, meaning neither a buyer's market or a seller's market.  Of course, if you have Read Shift, or listened to Gary Keller speak, he is constantly reminding us that the pendulum swings quickly.... it doesn't stay a neutral market long.Interesting.........  But … (0 comments)
