ncaa: 2007-2008 AP & USA Today College Football Preseason Polls Released - 08/18/07 04:37 PM

USC is at the top as usual, and LSU (GEAUX TIGERS!) is number 2, after finishing strong last season at #3. Overall, the SEC (the toughest conference, in most people's opinions) has a strong showing with 6 teams.

ncaa: 23 Days Left Until The 2007-2008 College Football Season Begins! - 08/07/07 10:45 AM

The 2007-2008 NCAA Football season kicks off 8/30/07 with a Thursday night game between LSU and MSU at MSU in Starkville, MS. USA Today ranked LSU at #2 in the nation in their pre-season rankings, and some predict that LSU will play USC for the National Championship. While I hope that my team (LSU) does play for the National Championship (which is in New Orleans, by the way), I in no way feel assured that it will happen. Here are the complete pre-season rankings from USA Today:
