My original DROID bit the dust because I dropped it once too often and the screen shattered.  Enter the new DROID Bionic with Gorilla Glass (an old product brought to new uses).  The DROID Bionic for Verizon is by far the best phone I have ever had.  It does about everything you would want to do and does it with a 4.3 inch screen, 3G, 4G, WIFI and whatever else you can coax the Android systiem into doing.  If that screen isn't big enough for you it has an HDMI output to connect to a big screen.  How cool is that.

Are you a power Android user?  Here is a great article that points out some of the great features of most Andriod phones.  Yes, believe it or not Motorola there are other phones based on the Android operating system besides the DROID.

android: Run, The Droid Is Here from Verizon - 10/29/09 04:51 PM
Run, the Droid is here.  Verizon has finally announced a new phone based on the Google operating system called Android.  This is the 2.0 version.  I did a small blog here on it a few days ago.
There will be a lot of phones based on the Android operating system but I am focused on the Verizon phone as that is the carrier I have.  I don't know if AT&T will sell one as it is direct competion to the iPhone.  Does it best the iPhone?  I don't know but to sell more of them it really doesn't have to be.  … (7 comments)

android: Android to Leapfrog iPhone - 10/11/09 10:12 AM
The Android phone by Google could leapfrog the iPhone in sales in the next few years.  Although we think of the Android as a phone it is the Operating System (OS) behind it that counts and how the phone is adapted to it.  It is the same with the iPhone and the Blackberry.  The operating system is what makes them go.  We hear so much about the iPhone but did you know it is a distant third to the Symbian OS from Nokia.  I never even heard of the Symbian OS.
