Sending Holiday Wishes To You and Yours! The Mundt family has been celebrating Christmas and the Holidays early this year ...
Our family is growing once again. We're eagerly awaiting the birth of another grandbaby any day now. Celebrations and get-togethers were bumped-up to accommodate our greatly-anticipated new arrival ... and one very tired expectant mommy. I know that my family and I are not alone in our busy schedules, our joys, and many celebrations ... so I'm sending my holiday message and a small "gift" a bit early. … (19 comments)
Life gets busy ... especially around the holidays ...
So I wanted to make sure I wrote this blog early enough to have a chance to wish all of my ActiveRain friends a very Happy Easter and wonderful holiday weekend.
Marilyn and I will have our family together. A real and too rare treat these days.

Each year I find myself wishing the Holidays would become simpler. And perhaps naively after our 2 boys became older, were out on their own, and then had their own families ... I thought that'd become true.
Nope!
Add two grandbabies into the mix, along with a new business office and venture during the year, and life in general becoming more hectic ... and my wish simply didn't become reality. At least not yet.

A couple days back, while catching up on some reading and the posts of some of my favorite ActiveRain bloggers, I ran across a plea from Donna Foerster, (Rocky Mountain Real Estate Advisors, Metro Denver, CO) for good pumpkin bread recipes. As my wife will attest, I'm a darn good eater and rarely forget a recipe that I find particularly good. In my eyes, that described my wife's pumpkin bread recipe ... and I had Marilyn send it off to Donna.

"Happy Father's Day" to the 2 men I love and admire most Father's Day is this Sunday. And I know that most will take the opportunity to honor their fathers, whether still alive or passed.
