When I talk about the market I always qualify myself by pointing out what a lousy stock picker I am and the fact that I cannot never pick the winner in a football game. I do not play poker (I cannot bluff), I do play blackjack (where I can look at the numbers and make an educated decision). In the past week I have shared anecdotal information about multiple offers on well priced homes, homes being sold before offers can be submitted, and have told you about people loosing out on a home they wanted by low balling an already well (0 comments)

The names in this little piece have been changed to protect the ignorant. But will call this person Fred (Failed Real Estate Diagnostics). Sometimes Fred goes by other names, my uncle, my aunt, my mother's hair dressers third cousin, my friend at church, or the drunk at the bar. Well Fred I took your friend from church out to see homes the other day. We have looked at hundreds of homes together, probably thirty that day. She wants a good deal. She is ready to buy, has her loan approved and all the money she needs in the bank. She actually has (2 comments)

I believe that this year the market will bottom out and start the climb back up. There are all ready indications of this. Lenders and the government have taken steps to stop the foreclosures, interest rates are being cut rapidly, and some homes (when priced right) are getting multiple offers and selling fast. I also believe the recovery will start at the bottom of the market and work up. What does this mean for the buyer, both the buyer looking for a home and the investor? It means you need to watch for the bounce! Right now know one really knows where (1 comments)
