Antioch CA 94509 Home Prices – 2011 Trend
Antioch Ca Home Prices are what attract First Time Home Buyers and Investors. The 94509 Zip Code is the more established area of Antioch although it does cover some areas of New Home Construction.
These fine Antioch Homes are great opportunities and even though many are older many are great homes. In fact it is much easier to get a single story home in the older areas than the newer areas. Many of the neighborhoods are actually quitter and better kept than the newer areas.

Antioch has been one of the most challenged markets in East Contra Costa County. Home Buyers can find excellent Homes in Antioch at bargain prices, but we are running out of homes. These numbers are pulled from the MLS on May 11, 2009 and focus on Single Family Homes.
In April 213 homes sold in Antioch. The Average Price of those Antioch homes sold was $190,263.00 and the Median Price was $175,000.00. The homes sold spent an average of 53 days on the market and the average price per SF was $99.00.

If you’re thinking of Buying a Home or Selling a Home in Antioch CA, now may be the time to act. This market is still dominated by Bank Owned Homes, but it appears to be nearing the bottom and ready to turn around. These numbers are taken from the MLS on April 22, 2009. I have only looked at Single Family Homes. Some of the numbers vary slightly from Last Month’s Antioch Market Report, probably due to late reporting on some sales.

One of the latest gimmicks to sell homes is the Home Tours, often pitched as Home Tours of Bank Owned Homes.  The Agent will get a van or small bus and load a number of people onto the van/bus or what ever and drive them around to homes that the Agent wants to sell them.  To go on the tour you may have to get pre-qualified or sometimes there is a lender representatives on the tour to get you pre-qualified.  I've heard stories of buyers having to actually pay for tickets to go on these rides.
