If you’re thinking of Buying a Home or Selling a Home in Antioch CA, now may be the time to act. This market is still dominated by Bank Owned Homes, but it appears to be nearing the bottom and ready to turn around. These numbers are taken from the MLS on April 22, 2009. I have only looked at Single Family Homes. Some of the numbers vary slightly from Last Month’s Antioch Market Report, probably due to late reporting on some sales.

Yesterday I did a blog on the Brentwood Housing Market. One of my clients asked me about Antioch Home Sales. As each market is local here is a report on Antioch Home Sale trends. This report is based on Antioch Home Sales and Antioch Homes for Sale on the Multiple Listing Service for Antioch, California. These numbers are for Single Family Homes only.
In January 2009 there were 167 home sales in Antioch, California. The average price for Home Sales in Antioch California was $199,646.00 with a median Antioch Home Sale price of $200,000.00.

When I talk about the market I always qualify myself by pointing out what a lousy stock picker I am and the fact that I cannot never pick the winner in a football game.  I do not play poker (I cannot bluff), I do play blackjack (where I can look at the numbers and make an educated decision).
