Brentwood California Market Report – August 2009
The Brentwood Market appears to be stabilizing and undergoing some changes. I do not know if this signals a trend for East Contra Costa County.
This Brentwood Market Report Focuses on Sales in August of Single Family Homes as compared to Sales in July. The information is pulled for the MLS from between September 15th and September 18th. I will be presenting some Special Market Reports on certain Market Segments in Brentwood and other communities such as Short Sales, Bank Owned Home, First Time Buyers, and Higher End Homes in the near future.

This has been a bad week.
A client failed to get his offer accepted on a very nice home he really wanted. It just cost too much. We will have to get back on it next week. Several problems with things on the internet which screwed up some marketing, which . . . . , well you get the point. My first wife is very ill and my oldest two are worried about her. Brentwood Memorial Park is on Balfour at the corner of Griffin. The Brentwood Swim Center and Brentwood Senior Center set on the same site. There is plenty of off street parking.
Near the entrance at end of the parking lot the park features a rose garden and a series of flags commemorating those that have served this country. The main flag pole has the US Flag, California Flag, and a POW Flag. Then there are six more flags for the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marine.

I work with Home Buyers and Home Sellers in East Contra Costa County. I have a client I have been working with for some time looking for a Bank Owned Home in Brentwood. He thinks he has found a house he wants to put an offer in on, but wants to see it one more time today.
