Time to change... - 10/31/09 02:32 PM

 
Yep, the time is upon us to once again change our clocks.  With the change in the time we will have daylight tomorrow morning at about 6:50 AM and sunset tomorrow night will be 4:50.  Nice to have a bit more light in the morning, but it won't be long and we will be dark by 4:18 PM.  Winter is definitely upon us!

Carbon Leaf, one of my favorite bands, is doing its part to help fight breast cancer, but today is the last day for you to help them.

I hope that your day is going well.  Can you believe that Halloween is upon us and that means November is right around the corner.  Any big plans for the weekend?  We are in that stage of "the kid is grown and no grand kids yet", so it will be a quiet weekend for us.

City of Covington's Last Citizen Forum of the Year!
The City of Covington will be holding their last informal gathering of the year and all residents are encouraged to attend.  It will be held Wednesday, October 14th from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
This is an opportunity to meet new residents, ask questions of the City staff, pick up some new information and enjoy some light snacks.
