Road Closures - expect delays - 06/22/11 07:25 PM

 
The Seattle Rock n Roll Marathon is taking place this weekend, Saturday, June 25th. 
Start time:  7 AM
Starting line:  Tukwila's Gateway Corporate Center
Finish line:  Qwest Field, North Lot
 
If you plan to be out and about in that area on Saturday, there will be many road closures as well as traffic delays due to the race - so check out the official website to see the race route.

Happy Friday!!!!!!!
 
I hope this finds you having a wonderful end to your week.  Any big weekend plans?  We are heading to the beerfest tomorrow with our kids and then Sunday we are off the M's game.  Ahhhh a perfect weekend I have planned for my husband for Father's Day.  LOL - all my favorite things :)  
And Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there.  Nothing like a dad!  I hope your special day is grand.

Here is a quick look at what it going on in the real estate market in our area, zip code 98042...
There are currently 240 homes for sale with prices ranging from $64,500 to just under 3 million.
1 and 2-bedrooms homes for sale: 11 3 bedroom homes for sale: 110 4 bedroom homes for sale: 97 5+ bedroom homes for sale: 22  
There were 48 homes that sold in May, 2011. 42 were re-sale homes and 6 were new construction.

And what a glorious Friday it is suppose to be here in my neck of the woods.  WOW, I think summer might finally be coming to the Pacific Northwest. 
For those of you who live here, I hope you are able to get outside and enjoy the next few days.  They say we will actually go above 70 for the first time this year and might even hit 75 or more!  Woo Hoo, I am dusting off my flip flops!
