Yep, we just had these two visitors at our house.  I just wanted to get the word out that it looks like Santa has his reindeer out checking to see who is being naughty and who is being nice.  I hope they were talking about me cause when they came by I was in the kitchen baking cookies for my family - now that is pretty nice I think.  I hope Santa agrees.
So just a warning - pass it on... Santa has his scouts out making a last minute check of things for him!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I hope this finds you and your family and friends having a wonderful day.  Things at my house are wonderful!  My daughter and son-in-law will be arriving on Saturday and staying with us through Christmas.  So I've been preparing for their arrival and am very excited to have them for the holiday.
Whatever you do I hope it is grand.  I am taking next Friday off to be with my husband, so enjoy the quotes and I'll see you in 2012.

Happy First Full Day of Winter! - 12/22/11 05:13 PM
And it certainly feels like winter 'round these parts.  We are having the driest December on record - and with the clear days and nights comes some really cold temps.  I will say having just 8 hours of daylight is not near so bad when you actually have the sun out!  I think The Mountain has said hello more times this month then it did all summer long!

You and your loved ones will be entertained for hours.  There are stories to read, a disco dancing Santa, pages you can print and color, a Christmas Countdown Calendar, recipes and more. 
You can even send a birthday card to a loved one from Santa.  Yep, every year on my daughter's birthday, Jolly Old St. Nick checks in with her and wishes her a happy day.

I got an email last week and it was from, well.. ME! But the kicker is that it was from me from last year - how cool is that!
 
Several years ago I happened upon a website that you can send yourself an email in the future. So I did it. And every year during the holidays I get an email from myself. Of course, from year to year I always forget - so it is always a great surprise.

Happy Friday to all!
Yep, I am in the Christmas spirit - can you tell from the picture.  This was taken a couple of years ago on Christmas morning - before the presents got opened and the living room became a mess :)   It was in the quiet of the morning,  I was sitting by the fire and all the garland was lit up, the tree was on and I was sipping a nice cup of coffee enjoying one of my favorite times of year.  My daughter and son-in-law were home from college and spending the holiday … (1 comments)

1 and 2-bedrooms homes for sale: 9 3 bedroom homes for sale: 108 4 bedroom homes for sale: 74 5+ bedroom homes for sale: 17  
There were 43 homes that sold in November, 2011.  39 were re-sale homes and 4 were new construction.

I hope that your week is wrapping up nicely.  Did you survive the Thanksgiving holiday?  Still feeling full?   Are you into the Christmas season?  I've been decorating and shopping and baking and wrapping.  Yep in full swing at my house :)    But then it is one of my favorite times of the year.
