Say goodbye to summer! Branson City Officials are expecting large crowds to roll into the Tri-Lakes Area this weekend for what many consider to be the last weekend of summer. In fact, the Table Rock Lake Corps of Engineers reported that all 13 Corps' campgrounds are booked solid. They also expect to see many boaters as well as full crowds on Table Rock Lake's popular beaches. Live telecasts and several concerts will held downtown at The Branson Landing as they hold their Labor Day weekend tradition of raising money for Jerry Lewis' annual Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon. … (0 comments)

It's fireworks season in the Ozarks. "Fireburst", the annual fireworks display has been extended two more days. Along with it, the city of Hollister will host their 54th year and Blue Eye will have their own version of "Firefall". The Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce will host their annual celebration along with Shell Knob's Chamber of Commerce 32nd annual Fire & Thunder display. Chateau on the Lake will have a grand fireworks show and Big Cedar Lodge will also continue holiday traditions of setting off fireworks over Table Rock Lake. All of the Realtors at Gerken & Associates participated in the fourth annual Tri-Lakes Board of Realtors "Have A Heart" Food Drive. The area Food Drive goes to support local food pantries, including the Salvation Army, OACAC, Christian Associates of Table Rock Lake, and Christian Action Ministries.
