We just saw the movie, Julie and Julia, and if you are any kind of blogger, you mus see this film. Apart from the fact that we simply enjoyed it, it spoke alot about posting blogs. I guess alot of what we write is probably just filling space, but I guess there are alot of people doing serious writing out there. Today I read an article in the paper, that the FHA might implode. Ouch. I have come to the conclusion that there is an "all cash" market, an FHA market, and then a whole lot of nothing.
I had a conversation with a fellow agent about a year ago, and we both came to the same realization: if people have more money invested in their car than their home, it seems to be a prescription for disaster.
We both figured that a year or two down the line, alot of these FHA borrowers were going to walk away from the houses. … (2 comments)

I always amazes me when you take the time to go to a home on Brokers Tour, only to find that it is a "no-Host" affair. I believe it is direspectful on all levels.
What are you saying to your client? Your time is much too valuable to do put up a minimum effort on their behalf. What if somebody comes in and is quasi-interested in the home? You would imagine that with a little guided tour, you could point out the high points, some of the not-so-obvious features, get a feel for how people are reacting to the price.
