I have been in many places, but I have never been in Cahoots. - 10/31/11 10:41 AM
I have been in many places, but I have never been in Cahoots.  Apparently you can't go there alone.  You have to be in Cahoots with someone.  I've also never been in Cognito.  I hear no one recognizes you there.  I have, however, been in Sane.  They don't have an airport.  You have to be driven there.  I have made several trips there, thanks to my family, friends and those where I have worked.  I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump and I am not too much on physical activity anymore.  I have also been in … (10 comments)

Is there ANYTHING left to be for Halloween? - 10/28/11 01:12 PM
Before you choose a Halloween costume this year, it's important to consider whether it's appropriate. You may feel your costume is creative, but in these politically correct times, you need to take the feelings of others into account! The following costumes have been deemed politically incorrect, so beware. I purposely posted this 3 days prior to Halloween to give you ample time to make the appropriate changes to you original selection.  Enjoy, Happy Halloween.
Raggedy Ann. This costume clearly objectifies women.
Werewolf. Offensive to animal advocates and those with male-pattern baldness.
Cave man. The proper term should be "evolutionarily challenged"; "man" … (6 comments)

Questions for a Friday Funny Discussion - 10/28/11 08:26 AM
Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety-one?
If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea...does that mean that one out of five enjoys it? Why do croutons come in airtight packages?   Aren't they just stale bread to begin with?    If people from Poland are called Poles, then why aren't people from Holland called Holes?   If a pig loses its voice, is it disgruntled? Why is a person who plays the piano called a pianist, but a person who drives a racecar is not called a racist? If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for? If … (6 comments)

TEACHER ARRESTED BY TSA - 10/26/11 02:08 PM

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator.  At a morning press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction. 'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General said. 'They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of … (4 comments)

A Quick Look At Titling Property in Pennsylvania - 10/26/11 12:44 PM
There are but 4 major ways to hold title in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Family Abstract did a real good job of breaking this down to make it easy, thanks Family!
Via Family Abstract (Family Abstract, Inc.):
Titling a property when someone is purchasing a new home can be a little more involved that most people think.  Many people assume that this is just deciding what names are going to be on the title, but this is not that case.  There are 4 ways that property is typically title in Pennsylvania and the most important question to answer when deciding how to title … (0 comments)

My Favorite Wall Street Protestor Comment Yet! - 10/26/11 09:51 AM
“It’s weird protesting on Bay Street. You get there at 9 a.m. and the rich bankers who you want to hurl insults at and change their worldview have been at work for two hours already. And then when it's time to go, they're still there. I guess that's why they call them the one per cent. I mean, who wants to work those kinds of hours? That's the power of greed.” – Jeremy, 38 … (7 comments)

The Borowitz Report. The following is a letter released today by banking giant Goldman Sachs - 10/24/11 11:18 AM

Dear Investor:
Up until now, Goldman Sachs has been silent on the subject of the protest movement known as Occupy Wall Street.  That does not mean, however, that it has not been very much on our minds.  As thousands have gathered in Lower Manhatten passionately expressing their deep discontent with the status quo, we have taken note of these protests.  And we have asked ourselves this question:

How can we make money off them?
The answer is the newly launched Goldman Sachs Global Rage Fund, whose investment objective is to monetize the Occupy Wall Street protests as they spread … (2 comments)

Home Buyers Working with Realtors Through Nucazza can save a lot of money - 10/21/11 02:07 PM
As part of our roll-out of Nucazza, we're speaking to a number of Realtors about the program and how it benefits both of them and home buyers. One of the comments we often hear when we describe how Nucazza's affiliated Realtors can make money helping home buyers directly and can save home buyers thousands of dollars in closing costs is "but it's not the buyer who pays for the closing costs-it's the seller!"
Home Buyers Working with Realtors Through Nucazza can save a lot of money!
Technically, this is correct. But the reality is that the money changing hands … (0 comments)

The Limo Driver - 10/20/11 11:34 AM

After getting all of Pope Benedict's luggage loaded into the limo, (and he doesn't travel light), the driver notices the Pope is still standing on the curb.
'Excuse me, Your Holiness,' says the driver, 'Would you please take your seat so we can leave?'
'Well, to tell you the truth,' says the Pope, 'they never let me drive at the  Vatican   when I was a cardinal, and I'd really like to drive today.'
'I'm sorry, Your Holiness, but I cannot let you do that. I'd lose my job! What if something should happen?'

GOD spelled backwards is DOG... Coincidence? - 10/19/11 09:36 AM

I realize this is wordless Wednesday and these are words, probably against the rules!
BUT... Miracles have to get a "pass"
What you are seeing is my golden retreivers leg where the blood settled from internal bleeding of a cancerous tumor.
We were told that "Mango" had only a couple of days to live, but my daughter wanted to come home from College and say goodbye.
We all prayed and cryed and wished, then, that night, when I flipped her over I noticed the above "BLOOD SPLOTCH".
We got 2 weeks of life from Mango after this little miracle … (11 comments)

Talking Dog For Sale.... Only 10 Bucks - 10/17/11 10:58 AM
A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale ' He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard.
The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Golden retriever sitting there.
'You talk?' he asks.
'Yep,' the Golden replies..
After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says 'So, what's your story?'
The Golden looks up and says, 'Well, I discovered that I … (14 comments)

A Man and his Dog... PS.... Look closely at the first picture, who do you see? - 10/14/11 01:46 PM
A man and his dog were walking along a road.  The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years.  He wondered where the road was leading them.                  After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road.  It looked like fine marble.  At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent gate … (3 comments)

Who does my home buying negotiator really work for? - 10/14/11 12:11 PM

A man goes to see the Rabbi - 10/12/11 04:28 PM
A man goes to see the Rabbi. "Rabbi, something terrible is happening and I have to talk to you about it." The Rabbi asked, "What's wrong?" "My wife is poisoning me." The Rabbi, very surprised by this, asks, "Are you sure?
Why would she do such a thing?" The man then pleads, "I don't know why, but I'm telling you, I'm  certain she's poisoning me. What should I do?" The Rabbi thinks a bit, then says, "Tell you what. Let me talk to her, I'll see what I can find out and I'll let you know" A week later the Rabbi calls the man and says, "Well, … (11 comments)

Being Jewish.... A Funny Friday look - 10/07/11 04:45 PM
Being Jewish... A Friday Funny Look,   Happy New Year Fellow Tribers   As a general  principle, Jewish holidays are divided between days on which you must starve and days on which you must overeat.  Many Jews observe no fewer than 16 fasts  throughout the Jewish year, based on the time-honored principle that even if you are sure that you are ritually purified, you definitely aren't.    Though there are many feasts and fasts, there are no holidays requiring light snacking.   Note: Unlike Christians, who simply attend church on special days (e.g. Ash Wednesday), on Jewish holidays most Jews  take the whole day off.  This is because … (6 comments)

When we give people a choice, we make them richer - 10/05/11 04:16 PM
Consider the cave paintings in France 17,000 years ago, human beings became rich enough to paint.  That meant that someone was given weeks off of work from hunting and foraging to spend time painting instead.  It meant that the community took the time to make the brushes and paints and took the time to admire his work.  Few of us would consider cavemen to be rich, but compared to every other living organism before them, they were.  They were making choices.
Fast forward, compare that painting to the works on display in the Modern Museum of Art in New York.  There … (0 comments)

Who Says Buyer's Won't Pay For Their Services? - 10/04/11 04:05 PM
As a firm believer that the buyer should and will and does pay for their services as they are being done, the blog from Charita has warmed my heart!  Buyers are willing and ready to pay you the same amount per hour they pay their attorneys and doctors.  In a post I wrote entitled, Let the buyer take the risk out of real estate I cartooned a conversation between 2 buyers and their agent, check it out here. http://youtu.be/PyMAIpw3Rkc  When a home buyer pays their realtor directly, as an agreed upon suite of services are completed, they have eliminated all the risk … (1 comments)

Why offer respectful choice when you can make more money from forced compliance and social pressure? - 10/04/11 11:17 AM
Is it any wonder that market-leading organizations fear the "A-Typical"?  The defining idea of the twentieth century, more than any other was mass.
Mass gave us efficiency and productivity, making us (some people) rich.  Mass gave us huge nations, giving us (some people) power.  Mass allowed powerful people to influence millions, giving us (some people) control.
And now Mass is dying!
We see it fighting back, clawing to control conversations and commerce and politics.  But it will fail, it must.  The tide has turned, and mass as the engine of our culture is gone forever.
That idea may make you uncomfortable.  … (5 comments)

Nucazza, aligns itself with banks and credit unions all over the country to bring the message of choice and transparency to the banks customers. Through Webinars, co-branding and a message of positive choice we can identify home buyers on behalf of the lending institution and give them all the tools to make an informed decision as to how they wish to buy a home and how they wish to pay for the services provided. Nucazza, LLP will pass all interested home buyers to our database of participating Realtors. We are a free service to the home buyers as well as all ACRE graduates. We are an ACRE industry partner in the education, effectuation and Rabble Rousing of the Alternatives to Commission. While in my 25th year as a multi-state title insurance agent I am fulfilling a promise I made to myself just 3 days into my new career. "This industry is broken, I need to part of the change" Over my tenure, the companies I have been involved with, Family Abstract, Inc. et al has been involved in over 100,000 real estate transactions. The number one question that continually rose was regarding the commissions being paid to the Realtors(r) at closing. The buyers insisted it was their money that paid for the commissions since it was added to the sales price, the sellers believed it was their money because it was paid as part of the sales price and the "Gentlemen of Real Estate that began it all were smart enough to put it in the Agreement of Sale to protect their own ASSets. Question 1A was, what does 6% commission have anything to do with the value my agent brought me? How does one equate to the other? Why am I handing money to everyone? :( Nucazza, LLP was created as a way of giving back for an incredibly rich life that I have gotten to enjoy thanks to the real estate industry. I see great changes coming in real estate all to the benefit of our children and our grandchildren. Both as buyers and sellers as well as for those that become a new "Evolutionary" Realtor all will enjoy the richness of life that will be associated with this profession.  My job is Chief Evangelist, You don't know me... But you will
