Wonder what this will do to revenues. This from Business Times:
Apple Inc. 's iAd mobile advertising business is struggling to keep top clients, cutting rates by up to 70 percent, Bloomberg reports citing people familiar with the matter.
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) was initially charging clients such as Citigroup Inc.(NYSE: C) and JC Penny Co. Inc. (NYSE: JCP) $1 million or more to run campaigns, when it rolled out the iAd service a year ago.
The report says Apple is now charging as little as $300,000 for packages as clients have turned instead to Google Inc. 's (NASDAQ: GOOG) AdMob, Millennial Media and … (2 comments)

Seriously... I'm sure there is a good use for the extra 38 million dollars, if those figures are accurate (though I doubt Google could complete the job for THAT cheap). Besides, I would trust GOOG and its security over MSFT. It appears many people have yet to discover Google Chrome.

The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times are reporting that Google bid more than $5 billion for the online discounter Groupon, following reports Monday that an acquisition was in the works.
The Wall Street Journal cites sources saying Google offered $5.3 billion for the Chicago-based company, which would make it Google's largest acquisition completed to date.
