http://www.gregorygarver.com Battle of the Small Cars: Tsk tsk, jealousy is so petty.... September 26th, 2008 Tsk tsk, jealousy is so petty. Small-car rivals Mini and Smart are apparently battling for the honor and recognition of slowly traversing down Lombard. More than 300 Minis drove down the crooked street two weeks ago as part of the Magical Mystery Mini Tour. Smart Car critical mass, the competition is on. Bay Area: Will New Ways of Selling and Buying Take Over the Real Estate Market? Yesterday, February 24, 2008, 11:56:26 PM | anna.hibble When the market takes a dive, we might expect that realtors would also sink a little; at the very least, they’d need to tread water more vigorously to stay afloat. Unfortunately it's not shaping up to be much of a boost to the jumbo loan affordability, at least for the moment. As reported by Matt Carter from Inman News - The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association announced that the new conforming loan increase of $729,750 will not be put into the same pool of secondary market

A Special Evening Preview For A Big View Home On Marina Boulevard January 19th, 2008 <!-- by admin0 --> Purchased for $3,100,000 just over two years ago (10/24/2005), and having recently undergone a major renovation (including the addition of a media room, fourth bedroom suite, and an arched cast stone entryway), 767 Marina Boulevard is now back on the market for $4,950,000. If you’re seriously interested, there’s a “special evening preview” tonight (from 4-6pm). And no, this shouldn’t be considered an apples to apples comp (key words: “major renovation”). ∙ Listing: 767 Marina Boulevard (4/3.5) - $4,950,000 [MLS] Posted in

An Apples To Apples Comp To Be Is Back On The Market In The Marina January 19th, 2008 <!-- by admin0 --> Withdrawn from the market last month, 3324 Octavia #4 is back, only this time with zero official days on the market (versus almost 60) and an “original” list price of $749,000. This one-bedroom condo in the Marina features stainless steel countertops in the kitchen (a look we rather like) and an oversized shower in the bathroom. And yes, a list price that remains $1,000 less than what the sellers paid three and one-half years ago (7/16/2004). ∙ Listing:
