mchenry realtors: Why Use a REALTOR When Buying New Construction? - 04/10/08 06:23 PM
Many buyers that I have talked to and worked with were unaware that they can and should use a REALTOR when buying a new home from a builder.  They also assumed they didn't need a home inspection.
My take on this situation is that when you are buying a home directly from a builder, you are negotiating with their sales people.  These salespeople always have the builders best interest at the forefront of their minds, not necessarily the buyer's.  Yes, they may offer fancy upgrades and bonuses, but are they offering their absolute best deal?  This is where the REALTOR comes … (1 comments)

You also own a certain percentage of the "common elements" - staircases, sidewalks, roofs, etc. Monthly charges pay your share of … (1 comments)

Choosing the right REALTOR to represent you can make it or break it when it comes to selling your current house or buying your dream home.  Look for an agent that is committed to providing you with the best experience possible.  Agents are not one size fits all.  You will want to do your homework to see who fits your buying and or selling style and who can truly guide your towards your goal.
I like to focus on my hospitality background that has taught me about how important customer service and customer satisfaction is.  I will go above and beyond every time for my client to … (0 comments)

Buying a home is a big step in your life!  Whether you are a first time home buyer, or doing this for the second or third time, it is a large financial investment.  It may just be the most expensive thing you will ever buy!  This is why it is so important to hire your own REALTOR to assist you with the process.
Think of it this way:  If you have to go to court, you are going to hire a licensed attorney.  If you have a medical problem you will probably go to a doctor.  When it comes time to make … (0 comments)
