 Seniors comprise one of the fastest growing sectors of the population in New Mexico, and it is appropriate to make arrangements to accomodate their changing lifestyle.  Such accomodations are particularly important in housing, and in New Mexico, builders are paying increasing attention to construction of homes for adult communities.
A few of these communities have existed for some time however. One such rare find being the Golden West Condominium Apartments in Rio Rancho, the 3rd argest  city in New Mexico.
The Golden West condominium apartments were built 30 to 40 years ago. An 83-unit complex, it was designed with active older adults in mind.

Albuquerque Westside Office - Grand Opening. - 09/30/07 02:23 AM
 
Keller Williams Westside Market Center moved into our new office at 6240 Riverside Plaza Lane, Suite 100, Albuqerque, New Mexico. Did I tell you we have a Starbucks coffeshop next door? We now  have to drive to get our cars washed but to meet a client over latte, it takes only a dozen or so steps. We have great neighbors at Riverside Plaza Lane.
Our grand opening was a huge success. The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce (GACC)  facilitated a ribbon cutting for us. The Albuquerque Hispanic Chamber (AHCC) was also on hand and presented us with a plaque.
