Active Rain has never been a group to rest on its laurels. Ever since I signed up over two years ago, I have never failed to miss a few days or more without returning to find some new twist or development. I will have to say that Active Rain has always kept me on my toes, always a step behind, guessing what I'm up to and trying to figure out if I am doing things right. Arrival at the Party
I arrived at Active Rain just about one year ago, January 14 2007 feeling as if I were the last person to enter a lqrge room full of people at a party where veryone already knew everyone else, and I the only stranger. (Newbies take note.) It so happened I was not at the end of the line for very long; by then daily arrivals to to the blog group must have been far past the 10 per day of the opening days of July and August. Don't wink, let alone miss a few days on Active Rain or you are sure to miss out on some innovation. I missed a few days, return and write a few comments and i feel like Rip Van Winkle.
New fruit and vegetables that have sprung up everywhere. So far, I have been pleasantly surprised to encounter mamey and chayote. iI suspect others will be springing up as I continue to catch up on making comments.

In February, I wrote about my Las Vegas Keller Williams family reunion http://activerain.com/blogsview/46199/Real-Estate-Convention experience in which I shared that apart from the learning and the thrill of being among so many like-minded people, I was impressed with the smoothness and efficiency with which the events flowed.
On my return home, I commented everywhere on my trip, including on Active Rain. Since I, myself, like to get kudos and recognition, I decided to let Mo and her staff know how much I appreciated their efforts and hard work.

active rain: Real Estate Convention that is a Family Reunion - 02/16/07 12:14 PM
I just returned from my company's convention. Only, it is not called a convention, it is called a family reunion. It was my first family reunion, and my only regret was that I had not attended before.
The Keller Williams Realty http://www.kw.com/kw/ Family reunion 2007 had all the usual characteristics of the business convention - speeches, workshops (breakout sessions) exhibit halls with vendors offering their wares services, and of course, the attendees. This convention had something extra-something that justifies it being called family reuinion.
From the opening Red Bash - Welcome Party to the final Inspirational Brunch, the event was a beautifully orchestrated educational and networking event with an underlying motivational spirit of support and care. It was … (9 comments)
