blogging: Welcome back, self - 10/27/09 02:27 PM
It's been a couple of months since I last visited Active Rain, and several more months since I've been "Active" on AR.  A few things played into my absense, all good. 
1) Business picked back up.  I got to be #1 in my community during 2008, when I spent the majority of the year hiding behind my computer and not really selling homes.  2009 saw a new focus on my actual business and my time on AR lagged.
2) My other blog is where my business comes from. AR doesn't carry the same weight with Google nor is it as enjoyable … (1 comments)

I learned something interesting at our softball game yesterday.  As I sat on the bleachers, melting in the 93 degree sunshine, filling out our line-up card the coach from the other team came over to greet me.  You only get one chance to make a first impression, right? 
I was wearing an old t-shirt from my days as a track and field and cross country coach at a local high school.  The other coach approached me and as I looked up, I heard:         "Do you coach cross country?"
         "I used to.  It's been 5 years, but I loved doing..."

blogging: MeMe? Really? Not Me - 05/30/08 12:50 PM
I'm relatively new to the blogging world (my blog was born in October '07).  I'm really new to this MeMe phenomenon (I saw it for the first time last week).  Apparently, bloggers tag other bloggers with a list of questions to be answered about themselves and then pass it on to others.  Christina Williams obviously doesn't know me very well, as she MeMe'd me, and I'm just not the touchy-feely kind of guy that buys into this kind of thing...however, everyone keeps telling me I need to loosen up, and it's much easier to do this sort of thing in a … (8 comments)
