In September 2009, I wrote a post Communities Begin With Their School System.  That post pointed how the value of your home is affected if your local schools are compromised and encouraged Fairfield New Jersey residents to Vote for Fairfield Schools in the America's Favorite School Contest.

The Calm After the Storm.....The 2010 Flood of Fairfield, New Jersey - 03/21/10 03:21 PM
Perhaps you heard about it on the news or read about it in the newspaper.  Maybe you are many miles away and had no idea about the brutal nor'easter that dumped a month's worth of rain on Fairfield New Jersey and surrounding towns last weekend.  A state of emergency was declared by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in Fairfield, New Jersey. 
 
 
Not only did this relentless storm take down trees and cause power outages, an estimate of 250 homes were affected, causing over 40 residents to be evacuated from their homes (especially along the Passaic River), while others opted not to evacuate and ride out the storm. Many local … (2 comments)

The Fairfield Town Pool Early Bird Prices for Fairfield New Jersey residents ends on March 26, 2010. 
Fairfield New Jersey Town Pool is scheduled to open on Memorial Day Weekend (May 29th).  The pool will be open on weekends only from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. until the day after Fairfield Schools break for summer.  Once Fairfield schools are out for summer, the pool will be open daily through Labor Day (Sept. 6th). Pool hours will then be Monday through Friday:  11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday/Holiday 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
